We’ve known the Maekawa Langenstein family since the summer of 2019! Both of their little ones have been cloth diapered with us, and we’ve enjoyed running into them at couple festivals over the years. Without further ado, meet Kurt, Jonelyn, Calli and Clyde!

Kurt and Jonelyn lived in San Francisco before moving to Chicago in 2017. We live in Wicker Park. Kurt works in finance at Allspring Global Investments. Jonelyn is a speech pathologist at Northwestern Hospital. Callie is 3.5 and Clyde just turned 2.

Callie is a graduate of GDB. Clyde is still going strong in cloth. Both are happy spunky kids. Clyde loves trains and goofing with his big sister!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT BEING A PART OF THE GREEN DIAPER BABIES FAMILY?
We wanted to do cloth, but did not have it in us to do it all ourselves. GDB makes it easy and we feel good about helping reduce waste. When we have traveled and used disposable diapers and wipes, you see how much it adds up. Best part is that GDB picks up and delivers up 3 flights of stairs to our back deck in every sort of Chicago weather.
That’s our job! We’re here to make cloth diapering easy in every way!
